Engine, Transmission, and Performance

The standard 1418kg version has a traditional six-speed manual transmission, but it’s the 1435kg seven-speed dual-clutch version with steering-wheel-mounted skids that wins performance awards and is the obvious choice for the route.

The former gave official times of 0-100 km/h and 0-200 km/h of 3.9 seconds and 11.9 seconds, the latter of 3.4 seconds and 10.8 seconds, respectively. The difference is mainly due to the faster gearshift of the dual-clutch transmission, which now works with a 4.19:1 axle transmission and has been improved compared to its predecessor.

It all started with the styling, which was given a functional look to visually differentiate the standard 911 model more than ever before. It features a new front bumper with larger air ducts for the brakes and a front-mounted radiator, as well as a new profile that increases downforce on the front axle and steadier airflow along the sides.
