Because we like the T6’s powertrain performance in our long-term XC60 test cars, as well as the R-Design’s vibrant appearance, we recommend the B6. The extra cost versus the basic Momentum trim is well worth it, with all of the extras included.

We haven’t had a chance to put the T8 powertrain through its paces yet, but we were impressed with how quickly it accelerated and how smoothly it operated on our first drive.
The XC60 handles curves well, drives smoothly, and turns with confidence, but it does not attract hooliganism like the Porsche Macan.
When traveling over rougher portions of the road, the ride may seem a little rough, but it’s pleasant and quiet on smooth roads.
Range, Charging, and Battery Life
The T8 plug-in hybrid powertrain, which has a 35-mile electric-only range estimate, is available with either the Recharge or Polestar model.
