Unlike some of its competitors, Mazda has not made significant changes to its car. However, we appreciate what Mazda has done because it worked with some unique features that might be overlooked by other brands.
These features include projector-beam headlamps, 17-inch wheels, and a metallic grille with dark chrome accents. Another appealing feature is a 4-wheel independent suspension for great handling and rides quality.
The cabin offers an option for leather seats along with great visibility through large windows on all sides. A SkyActiv models of Mazda SUVs can increase fuel economy by up to 30 percent when compared to other vehicles in its class.

Among other things, we’ll take a look at its reliability, how it stacks up against its rivals, and whether or not it’s worth your money.
In the end, we hope this review will help you make an informed decision about your next car purchase.
What we liked
Compared to its closest competitors, Mazda’s CX-5 offers more cargo space in its small crossover. The Mazda CX-5 is also a lot cheaper than most of its rivals.
The Mazda is also fun to drive thanks to its handling and acceleration capabilities. What we didn’t like: There are some quality issues with the interior plastic panels which can rattle when you turn corners at high speeds.
What we didn’t like
The Mazda’s ride quality could be better, especially on bumpy surfaces; it feels as if you are riding on air. The car also didn’t come with a sunroof, an odd choice for an SUV.
We would have also liked to see backup sensors available on every trim level, which is not currently an option.
On top of that, we wish that Mazda had given us a standard touch-screen interface instead of one that is optional.
The Mazda CX-5 is one of those rare vehicles that achieve success in every area. You get a car that is stylish, fuel-efficient has great handling and is backed by a strong warranty.
In addition to all of these benefits, it’s affordable. No wonder it won Canadian Car of The Year in 2016.
While there are some areas where improvement could be made, they don’t interfere with your overall experience behind the wheel or when you’re searching for an auto loan to finance your purchase.
There’s just nothing quite like driving a Mazda! If you’re looking for your next vehicle, we encourage you to consider the Mazda CX-5, your life will never be quite as good without it!
With its sophisticated style, comfortable interior, nimble handling, good fuel economy, and low price, it’s no wonder that Mazda’s CX-5 is one of our favorite SUVs.
It doesn’t have any major flaws or deal-breaking issues in its design or execution. However, as with most products on today’s market, there are always compromises to be made.
The Mazda’s electric steering is well calibrated but lacks a little feel at lower speeds; it also doesn’t offer much sportiness behind its wheel.
Overall though (pardon my pun), we’re really impressed with Mazda’s dynamic SUV and can easily recommend it for city driving, with a warning for those living in snowy areas about its all-season tires’ performance when roads get slick.
The most outstanding features of the Mazda CX 5 2017 would be its exterior design and interior design. It is designed with gorgeous car accessories which include alloy wheels, dual tailpipes, heated mirrors, and an in-dash infotainment system.
The seats are designed to make you feel comfortable while driving and last it has been designed by keeping in mind your driving experience which means you can easily drive anywhere without facing any problem or difficulty to drive it.
Furthermore, in short, Mazda has used modern technology to build a perfect car and made it easier for its drivers.
Mazda CX 5 2017 has got some of the most stunning exterior designs that must be fully appreciated. Its outside has been made in the most solid, powerful, and competent designs.
It looks very sporty as it appears that its strength is also on wheels. The body shape of Mazda vehicles is kind of unique which attracts lots of people to go for it especially when they see it from far away.
When viewed from close range, its exterior designs like grills, headlights, and taillights enhance its looks even more.
Its overall appearance has been perfectly integrated with functionality without making it look plain or dull.
Instead, each design carries meaning about how user-friendly and easy to handle a vehicle would be for users hence making them attract to the Mazda brand again and again over years.
The Mazda CX 5 2017 has a 2.5-liter engine with 161 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque. While those specs may not be as impressive as some larger sedans or sportier coupes, they provide just enough power to allow you to accelerate quickly and merge into traffic when needed.
The torque output helps eliminate downshifting and makes light work of climbing hills. In fact, we’d say that for everyday driving, this car is about as much fun as you can have in a compact SUV without an oversized engine.
It still won’t match up against more traditional models, or even most other crossover SUVs, but it’s just fine for average driving conditions.
Before purchasing a car, you’ll want to think about what sort of driver you are. Are you someone who will take pride in driving on long trips, or do you spend most of your time commuting from place to place and running errands?
Do you have any plans for unique features (think aftermarket changes), or is that something that just isn’t really in your wheelhouse?
All these factors should be considered when deciding which vehicle would be right for you, and trust us, there is a car out there with all of your special requirements.
Whether it’s environmentally-friendly options or just extreme power under the hood, we’ve got it all covered here. Check out our Mazda CX 5 2022 review and learn more about what makes each model so special.
