What’s New for 2023 Mazda 3?

Mazda only upgrades the 2.5-liter naturally aspirated engine for more power, although it discontinues the base 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine option for 2023.

With a 5-horsepower boost, power output increases to 191 horsepower, while torque remains at 186 pound-feet.

Moreover, Mazda reintroduces cylinder deactivation for the 2023 model year (it had previously been available but was subsequently withdrawn), which improves fuel economy over the previous year.

What is the 2023 Mazda 3 price?

Versions of the 2023 Mazda 3 Sedan start at $23,615, including a $1,065 destination fee. The package includes 16-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, an eight-speaker audio system, two USB ports, an 8.8-inch infotainment screen, and a full set of collision avoidance aids (see safety section below).

Engine, Transmission, and Performance

The 2023 Mazda 3 Sedan comes with two engines, the first of which is a base 191-hp 2.5-liter four-cylinder.
